In order to get rid of some of the "nitty gritty" at staff meetings, I'm
planning to send you emails instead...
Is THIS OK???
 
 
If any of you want to go to any event mentioned in JUST NEWS, please post it
on the calendar on Demissie's door, as well any survivors or guests coming
into the office.
 
Several more young people are coming to do a bit of volunteering...if you
have "jobs" let Becky know.
 
REGARDING RECYCLING...You know I take the recycled materials home to
Maryland to recycle.  We were informed that Maryland will only take plastic
that has a label of 1 or 2...all other plastic will have to put into the
garbage.  The emblem for recycyling is on the bottom of the plastic
container.  PLEASE check it out before you discard plastic. Cans are still
taken, as well as glass jars.  Perhaps the survivors who come could be told
about this as well.  We need to use "teachable moments"
 
All newspaper and cardboard are still welcome for recycling. The first shelf
in the storage room is for newspaper, a box next to it is for magazines and
catalogs, etc.
Cardboard can be put more toward the back.
 
PLASTIC BAGS can be put in the chest in the bathroom...you'll see where to
put them.  DO PLEASE RECYCLE...SAVE MOTHER EARTH for us and the children of
the future.
 
PAPER CAN SHREDDED, put into plastic bags, when full, place in storage room
to be taken home on Thursday.
 
 
ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ABOVE...bring them to the staff meeting on TUESDAY
at 1:00 PM.  ALICE
